Welcome to my homepage. My name is James Alexander, or Jamesofur to those who know me online. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Rochester with a degree in Economics currently working full time for the Wikimedia Foundation as an Associate Community Officer (focusing on the Annual Fundraiser at the moment). My general interests are in Law (especially copyright, trademark and internet law), surfing and free/open culture and information.

This website is generally used as an expirementation ground for myself, both playing around with programming langauges and software, and for others who wish to play with the services I install (especially the wiki). Other services will likely pop up and down as I play with things. The next project to try is a blog, likely focused on Wikimedia Foundation projects. As with any service on this site the blog may be used extensively or may fall into disrepair or be deleted either because it didn't work out or because I screwed something up in the background.
